It is with great pleasure that Pacific Forest
Management welcome the youth of our community to participate in our program,
especially those relating to furthering personal education. Knowledge, coupled with hard work, are the key to self-improvement and success. By applying for this scholarship, you
demonstrate your willingness to accept the challenges of the future willingness
to put extra effort in reaching your goals.
Scholarship amount will be decided by the Scholarship Committee using these criteria..
Use care and thought
in completing each part of the application, and your brochure since the
application speaks for you, and informs the judges in making their
decision. All information will be kept confidential.

WHO MAY APPLY: Any student in the graduating class of a high
school, or its equivalent, who is a citizen of the United States of America and
resident within the jurisdiction of the Quillayute
Valley or Cape Flattery School Districts, who plans to pursue a vocational
training or academic course. The application must be

The scholarship expires one year from date of award unless applied for as described below and is subject to cancellation or withdrawal if the student’s conduct proves contrary to the principles of law and order, academic performance and morality supported by Pacific Forest Management.
Scholarships are conditionally issued upon the enrollment into an
undergraduate forestry, fisheries, or other natural resources related program
at a college or vocational school in the

4. Others you may wish to consult
IMPORTANT: Be sure your completed application is in the hands
of Pacific Forest Management, Inc. prior to the established deadline
date. Application Packets received
after this date cannot be accepted.
THE APPLICATION PROCESS IS AS
FOLLOWS:

Enclose an official
high school transcript.
·
Enclose a resume that
tells us about you, including your name, address, and contact
information. Also, include information about your school involvement in and
outside of the classroom, any volunteer work that you have done and your
employment history.
·
Enclose an
essay about yourself and your plans for the future. Include with this a statement indicating your
reasons for pursuing a career in natural resources. This should be Typed and at least one page
double-spaced in length.
·
Enclose two letters of recommendation from a
teacher, academic advisor, principal/dean, employer, or religious leader.
·
Enclose a copy of your college or graduate school
application, acceptance letter, or confirmation of enrollment.
