Room Rules for Mr. Giles

1.        Respect all persons.


2.        Respect all property.


3.        Allow me to teach.


4.        Allow others to learn.


5.        Food and drink are at my discretion.


6.        Raise your hand, not your voice, to be recognized.

 

 

 

7.        All District rules, as found in the student handbook, apply.

 

 

 

8.          Leave your desk, the room, the school and the world a better place than you found it.


Consequences
Reminder, reprimand, redirection.
Loss of daily participation points.
Delay, detention, loss of privilege.
Phone call home to parent(s).
Some logical consequence as a result of your behavior.
Referral to DMZ, Principal, or Counselor.

Almost the same as classroom rules stuff that can probably be interpreted in room rules. These are my pet peeves):

pass notes
download or play games
study for another class
stand by the door and wait for the bell to ring
