You will need the following materials for class.  Please bring these items everyday:

                        1.  Pen (blue or black ink)

                        2.  Spiral notebook - for journal use only

                        3.  Paper

                        4. 3-ring binder with dividers

ATTENDANCE/TARDIES:

Attendance in the classroom is vitally important to the learning process for all students.  Therefore, it is critical for you to be in class, on time, everyday.

Your participation in class is worth 10 points daily.  If you are tardy you lose five of the ten points and you will have to spend time with me during lunch to make up for the time you missed from class.  After the 4th tardy, you will be referred to DMZ.  If you are absent you will receive zero of the ten points.

You will have an opportunity to regain the lost points by attending a tutorial session with me before or after school.  These tutorial sessions need to be scheduled by you within one week of the absence/tardy or you will lose the opportunity to regain those points.

School related activity absences will not be counted against you.

MAKE UP WORK:

With all absences, it is your responsibility to make up any missed work.  You are to check with a classmate or my web page to find out what we did in class. The web address is http://www.forks.wednet.edu/FHSMAIN/Ss/kingb/index.htm

LATE WORK:

Late work will only be accepted if you have an excused absence.  If you are absent on the day an assignment is due - it is due upon return.  If you are absent on a day an assignment is given you will have one day to complete the assignment and turn it in.

Assignments will be due on the assigned date and will receive no credit if turned in late (only a check off).     LATE WORK IS ACCEPTED FOR ONE POINT.

There will be no other exceptions.
