Turbidity
By: Ryan Dahl
Turbidity is one of the easiest water quality tests you can do. What you do is fill the little beaker thing up to the line. Get the little plastic sheet that has the circles on it. Set the beaker on the middle circle and look through the water. Then all you have to do is find the circle (secchi disk) that most resembles what you see and copy down what is written below the circle and that is turbidity.
Turbidity measures how well you can see through the water or how murky the water is. The best water has a turbidity reading of less than 10 JTU.
