Daily Schedule for 2007/2008 School Year

8:00 – 9:00 Homeroom--Students may quietly enter room, drop off materials, and prepare for the day (sharpen pencils, etc…) Students may also work in the class. This is not a time to visit.

This is also a great time for students to get help with a difficult assignment from their teachers. If I am available, I will be glad to help students.

9:00 – 10:00 Specialist or Read Aloud

10:00 – 11:15 Math--*Student’s snack time will be determined by his/her math teacher. For snacks, the 5^th grade teachers are asking that student bring healthy snacks, fruit, veggies, or crackers.

11:20 – 12:25 1^st Period Class--Writer’s Workshop, Science or Social Studies with Mr. Johansen OR Reading and Language Arts with Ms. Lewis

12:30 – 1:00 Lunch

1:00 – 1:30 Recess

1:30 – 2:50 2^nd Period Class--Writer’s Workshop, Science or Social Studies with Mr. Johansen OR Reading and Language Arts with Ms. Lewis

2:55 - 3:00 Homeroom--Planner, clean room, classroom jobs, and get ready for dismissal.
