ITT Technical Institute 2007 High
School Scholarship Program
ITT Technical Institute –
ITT Technical Institute will
award eight scholarships valued at $2,500 each to apply toward the student’s
tuition in the student’s program of study.
The total amount awarded during 2007 will be $20,000.

Eligibility Criteria:
Application must be a senior
in high school at the time of application and a high school graduate no later
than June 2007.
Applicant must agree to begin
the program of study to which the scholarship will be applied in the available
class sessions (i.e. morning, afternoon, or evening) during which the program
is offered in June 2007.
All Applications must be
submitted to the ITT Technical Institute’s Scholarship Committee no later than
April 27, 2007.
Scholarships will be awarded
based on recommendations, academic record and an essay indicating interest and
desire in completing a degree program.
Selection of recipients will be made by the ITT Technical Institute
Scholarship Committee.
Applicants must submit the
follow documents:

Completed
application,
v
Two letters of
reference from people unrelated to the applicant (i.e., teachers, counselors,
employers),
v
A typed statement
containing a minimum of 250 words explaining in detail the following:
ü
Why the applicant
wants a career in this particular field, why the applicant feels he or she
would be successful at ITT Technical Institute, and any other information of
significance in consideration for this scholarship.
ü
The essay must be
typed on a standard 81/2” x 11” paper and must have the applicant’s name, address,
and high school in the upper left corner.
ü
The essay must
end with the following certification by the applicant: “I am the only author of this essay, as
required by the Scholarship Committee of ITT Technical Institute” followed by
the applicant’s signature and the date.
ü
An official copy
of the applicant’s academic transcript record to date.

Applicants must
pass the ITT Technical Institute admission tests and meet the entrance
requirements.
