The Teachers
In 1990, Diane Cowles began her teaching career at the Quillayute Valley School District. She enjoyed
teaching second grade for three years.
She then turned to home-schooling her own children. As a result in 1996,
Mrs. Cowles began the program Home School
Plus and has enjoyed being the coordinator since its beginning. Mrs. Cowles not only enjoys teaching, but
also traveling to different countries and learning about the culture and the
language of those places. Mrs. Cowles
has visited Guatemala, El Salvador, Bolivia, China, and Indonesia. When she is
not teaching or traveling, Mrs. Cowles likes to spin wool, crochet rugs, create
movies with her own video clips, but most of all spend time with her family.
