Brittany's Tips
Brittany's best tip: Spend the money and take a lesson. It will help you progress faster and prevent you from picking up any bad habits.
Wear a helmet, concussions don't tickle.
Don't be scared to fall, because that's how you learn.
Lean forward on your board not back.
Help people that aren't as good as you. You sucked once too.
Just don't stick your butt out, bend your knees.
When doing a grab don't touch your board actually grab it.
Don't be scared of speed.
Don't be scared to mess up, your not the only one who does.
When going off jumps always spot your landing, or you will fall.
Don't try to slow down in powder, surf the top of it. If you do slow down you will get stuck. Trust me on this one.
Don't just sit down. It encourages other to do the same. All it does for you is make you cold and wet. Not recommended.
When you fall backwards don't try to catch your self with your arms. Your wrists will have a tendency to break.
Follow the responsibility code. The ski patrol gets grumpy and complains about snowboarders when they don't.
Tighten your bindings every now and then. They loosen up bit by bit.......then rip out. You look like an idiot riding the lift down with a board in one had and your binding in the other. Trust me on this one. I have the experience.
