Twelve districts in the state of Washington are now participating in the eighth year of the Washington Virtual Classroom's Water Quality Project. By clicking on the buttons to the left you will have access to the resources used by teachers in our project. "Procedures" will discuss how to do the nine different water quality tests, with information on their importance. "Data Entry" is for use by the WVC school districts to enter their data. "Data Analysis" allows all our districts to look at their stored data over time; anyone can access these sets of data. The "Curriculum" section is the backbone of the project. Here you will find lesson plans, activities, and ideas for incorporating the creative arts into any water quality program. The "Student Research" section will give the teacher insight into doing authentic research with high school students. The "Materials" section gives in-depth and practical information on water quality materials and supplies for the field and for the classroom for elementary, middle, and high school.
